Even when being played onPlayStation 5, I noticed some notable framerate dips which were at the time enough to put me off this otherwise fantastic game. Thankfully, after a series of updates, at least on PlayStation 5 and from my own experience,Star WarsJedi: Survivoris in a much better state now.

In ourreview ofStar Wars Jedi: Survivor, we said: “Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris an exceptional sequel, improving on every gripe fans had withFallen Orderwhile adding countless new features that’ll keep players engrossed for a long, long time.”

Yet, if you still had concerns with the performance issues ofStar Wars Jedi: Survivor, then that worry might soon be over, that’s at least according to a recent rumour. It is claimed on arecent episodeof the XNC Podcast on YouTube, that sources sayStar Wars Jedi: Survivorwill soon be able to run at 4K and a super smooth 120 frames per second. However, that will only be possible on the rumoured PlayStation 5 Pro and not the current console.

Of course, we should take all unconfirmed rumours with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. That being said, it wouldn’t be outside the realms of possibility that games such asStar Wars Jedi: Survivoras well as a whole host of other PlayStation 5 games will get a huge fps boost on Sony’s next console. Only time will tell.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris currently available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
