Just how a secret can stay hidden for so long boggles my mind, but it happened withThe Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, as fans have just found it.

It is a specific version of the game where this secret is hidden - if you want to see it you needThe Legend of Zelda: Collector’s Editionpromotional disc for Gamecube.

The latest Zelda game from Nintendo finally let us play as the princess herself

This was a random release from Nintendo and it emulated the classicZeldagame for a Gamecube release.

According to ZFG111on Twitter, who reported on the secret, it takes some effort to see it.

During gameplay you’ll need to enter a combination of inputs, a riff on the famous Konami code.

Once the code has been input, you’ll be rewarded with a new credits screen which shouts out the team who worked on the emulation of the game.

Of course, not many will own that version of the game so, thankfully, there is a videoof the inputs working and a shot of the credits, so you can see who worked on the project.

Many fans are wondering how this stayed hidden for so many years, but it’s likely due to the scarcity of the disc along with the random chances of someone trying to find it.

It was inevitably found through decompiling the game, which shows off pretty much every detail stored on the disc.

“I’m suprised with how poorly MM runs they’d do that”said one Twitter user.
