
One upcoming indie game cites The Legend of Zelda as a major inspiration, and many fans of the franchise are itching to dive in.
In what’s a pretty bold move, the creator of the title took to the r/Zelda subreddit to share the project, not knowing what the response would be.

“You awake in Mythica, a cosy island where magical stones change day to night,” reads the synopsis.
“Explore winding paths or venture into the wilds with your trusty glider and sailboat. To return home, you must befriend quirky townsfolk, discover hidden treasures, master magic, and face enemies in clever puzzle combat.”

An introductory offer is currently running until 25 November where you can bag the game for £14.23 instead of the usual asking price of £16.75.
It runs on Windows, Mac, and Steam Deck - and a console launch is planned for early next year.
Night Stonesshould next appear on Nintendo Switch, but ports to other platforms are also in the works.
