The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Timeis one of the greatest games ever made, and it’s even better in Unreal Engine 5.
While some would consider it to be overrated compared to the games that came after,Ocarina Of Timeis still a fantastic game to revisit, especially since it defined theZeldaseries’ formula until it got a shake up withZelda: Breath Of The Wild.

However if you don’t want to play the game with its original graphics, and don’t own aNintendo3DS to play the remake, you do have one option.

If you primarily play onPCyou can play anUnreal Engine5 remake ofOcarina Of Timeright now, and the best part is it’s free.
The game itself is exactly how you remember it, except the gameplay and the graphics have been overhauled in stunning HD.
It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea I’m sure as the art style is very different to the Nintendo 64 game, but you can’t deny it’s one of the most impressive Unreal Engine 5 remakes of recent years, and a lot of time has gone into perfecting it.
Unfortunately you won’t be able to play the entire game this way, only the Great Deku Tree segment and a bit of exploration in Link’s hometown, but it’s impressive nonetheless.

I doubt an official remake ofOcarina Of Timeis on the cards for Nintendo, but if theNintendo Switch 2is aspowerful as some claim it to be, a remake somewhere along the lines of this would be a welcome addition to its game library.
