The truth is, The Legend of Zelda is a fantastic series, no matter which game is your favourite but the chances are that the most popular answer might be theNintendo64’sOcarina of Time, released in 1998 with its legendary Metacriticscoreof 99.
The Kingdom of Hyrule inOcarina of Timegave players a sense of adventure that no game at the time could provide and to this day, players are still revisiting this beloved classic, especially as it’s included in the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion library.
The map of Hyrule is also relatively large and is packed full of secrets that some players may never discover, such as this little treasure shared in a Reddit post.
“Does anybody know any cool tricks or facts aboutOcarina of Time?”askedtheaverageplayer2. “I’m currently replaying it and just looking for cool ideas, glitches or whatever.”

Many members of the thread were eager to answer, but this one answer in question has piqued our interest. “Jump off the chains of the castle drawbridge for some free rupees,” replied satansayssurfsup.
In case you didn’t know, if you walk up the chain of the drawbridge of Hyrule Castle and wait for it to rise, if you go along the top of it, you’ll have a few rupees to claim.
Sure, this is only a small treasure and those few rupees are not going to make much of a difference, but it’s more so the fact that after all the hours that we’ve been into this game since 1998, many of us probably didn’t know about this.
