CryZENx originally began creating the remake inUnreal Engine4 before switching over to Unreal Engine 5 when the software became available. The remake has actually beenplayable for a number of months nowbut that doesn’t mean CryZENx’s work is over. The creator has released yet another update, giving the Lost Woods a makeover in addition to overhauling the game’s graphical capabilities yet again.

If you’re itching to join in on the fun, sadly, the remake is available to download and enjoy on PC only. You can grab the UE4 version of the remake for free from CryZENx’sDiscordserver. The UE5 version is only available if you subscribe to CryZENx’sPateronpage.
Describing the latest update, CryZENx wrote, “It’s about time I finally made a video for the 25th anniversary. This time it’s about an updated Lost Eoods with some new programmed gameplay elements just like in the original. A few things have been expanded and added new designs to several sections. The demo will have DLSS and Frame generation as an option to increase performance if you got an NVIDIA card from the 4000 series generation.” I don’t need an excuse to dive into some childhood nostalgia. Here I goooo.
